Life Post #4 - September 6th, 2016

Of any day that feels like a Monday, it was today. Honestly, I haven't had a day like this in a long time, and I have never been so glad to be home as I am now. Where do I start? Well, I woke up on time for once, at a bright and early 0430, and drowsily got around for work. I remember making breakfast and taking a moment to look through everything before I got my ride to work.

One sign that my work is amazing is the fact that I had to wait outside for well over twenty minutes to be let in. The average worker where I am at doesn't have a keycard, so you would figure that a lead like myself would. Wouldn't you? Well, the answer is no, and the answer is I got stuck with a crap job all day.

I won't go into much detail here, due to my work being proactive with stuff, but my day consisted of one mistake after the other, and people finding out how resilient that I am under stress. I contribute that to stress management and the fact I have games to take the stress out on. But I managed to power through the day. It took everything I had, but it worked, and I am happy about that.

One interesting thing that did happen was one of the fellow leads out there gave me an amazing idea. I am going to work on starting a online metal/horror blog or magazine and work steadily on that and see where it leads me. Might be a fun change of pace

Got home and had a conversation with my parents about stuff, mostly my want to get back into school. I turned 24 here recently, and FAFSA here in town requires you to be that age to file for yourself, and not under mom and dad. Gonna aim for Creative Writing, Journalism, and English. May not be exciting but I love to write, and the therapy it is for me is what keeps me sane on days like this.

I long for colder weather to get here so I can go and get a coffee from the local gas station and drink it on off days when writing. That was how I got most of my work done on my original manuscript, and I hope that it will follow suit on this one. I started out copying it, but hindsight showed me what was wrong the first time, and I know better what to do now.

Also, I had Taco Bell, and now I feel like I am going to die. I'm gonna go collapse after writing for a bit longer. If you need me message me on here, and I will see you in the next one.
